Skateland

Last night was Natalie's turn for special time with mom. She chose to go roller skating. So we went on dollar night and boy were there a lot of people there! It's the middle school hangout place for sure. Enter me, not knowing how to roller skate and very wobbly on my legs, holding Nat's hand, who's not sure about what's going on her feet. We made a very long slow loop around the outside of the rink when I decided that the middle is probably the safest place for us. We went back and forth in the middle and she kept falling, but then she'd laugh and say,"I'm doing it! I'm skating!" She lasted an hour which is 50 minutes longer than I thought she would. But we had a great time. Thanks for the special date Missy Moo Squishy Princess face. I love you!!!

I love that you guys went to Skateland. Yeah, I don't think I've been skating since middle school myself. I'd be pretty wobbly also. Looks like a very fun time for mom and Nat.

Oh my!! I completely love roller skating. I mean...completely. And although it's wasn't any Logan Roller Rink....(but let's be honest, what is? Really.) It sure looks like fun.

Man, now I'm missing roller skating. I might need to find a way to do that very thing. Thanks for the idea. And again, you are a rockin' mom!!
