Dreams...

We all have dreams. Some are goofy like the one I had last night. I was watching conference on a school bus. Some of us dream as little kids what we want to be when we grow up. Astronaut was at the top of my list. And then there are the serious dreams. I hope and dream that my kids grow up to be honest, good, Christlike adults. I hope that they set their hopes high and achieve their "dreams".

And then there are those dreams where you think of something you want, but it'll probably never happen so just thinking about it makes it o.k.. Example? I dream of being in Wicked, but that'll never happen so I just settle for standing on a chair in the kitchen and belting my heart out at the songs. :)

And then there are the dreams of my Love. He being a guy, has had dreams of getting a Harley Fat Boy. Yes a Fat Boy and no, not the ice cream sandwich. So when he found one in Portland on Craigslist for about half the price it should have been, he had to check it out. He drove down early this morning and then around 8:30 called and said," I did it!!!! Beck, it is beautiful!" He was as happy as your kids on Christmas morning when they run down the hall to see what Santa had left them. I was excited to see it and anxious for him to come home. I was not disappointed when he pulled into the drive.

I was so excited for him!!!! Pictures just don't do it justice. It really is a beautiful bike. The color is a little loud, but I like it and maybe I'll surprise him for Christmas and have it painted that burnt orange that he likes so much. I was so happy for him that I was squeling and clapping my hands. A few couples were walking across the street on their way to get kids from school. I showed so much excitement that they asked if HE had just bought the bike for me!!

And so now my Love has his Fat Boy. I truly am happy for you Love, and am glad that one of your dreams came true. Plus I like when you start it and it makes that deep rumbling sound.
Also, as you can see we have another bike in the driveway. We may need to sell that one. Because there is no way that I'm driving it. I'm a mini van type of girl.

that's just plain awesomeness! Now he can join the Temple Riders (is that what they're called? I forget...)

Beck, you're a good wife. Not only would I not let my husband even think about getting a motorcycle....I don't think I could be that happy FOR him. I just think you taught me a really good lesson. I need to be less self centered. (Actually I already knew that...but I need to be reminded)

(Oh, and we could totally do the entire Wicked in my living room. It's my new love....I already loved it...but now that I've actually seen it....it's getting to be kinda creepy love...too bad, I don't care!!)
