Dear spring,

Dear spring,

Oh, how I've missed you! It seems like forever since we last saw each other. You with your cherry blossoms in full bloom, and me, pregnant with the Dal and a weight I will not disclose on a blog. :) But here you are, again, and you are a sight for these sore eyes. We have welcomed you with arms wide open. We have loved taking our kids to the parks. We have loved going on picnics once again. We just love basking in your glorious sunlight.

The kids are enjoying being outside once more, with the sprinkler pulled under the trampoline. It was nice to dig out the summer clothes and put away (but, yet, still close by) the winter sweaters and pants. Welcome Capris and sandals! We have missed you as well.

As you can see, the kids have taken a liking to the water down by the Capital. Thank you spring for reminding me, and all of us, that winter is a season that too shall pass. Thank you for your beauty. Thank you for letting us make homemade popscicles in the plastic popscicle thing. They will be a huge hit tomorrow. Thank you for relaxing my brain. It gets hard to come up with rainy day activities, and a girl can only play HI HO Cherry-O so many times. Seriously. Thank you for allowing the kids to go to the park, and play in the backyard. We are all so happy with your being here. Oh, one more thing, could you make the forcast a little nicer this weekend? 60% chance of rain has kind of got me down a tinsy bit. Thank you. Love your truest, most dearest, appreciative, Beck.

So funny! So true! And bring on the sunshine...although I feel this is just enough to tease us. I really don't look for it until after 4th of July and that's just a sad, sad, sad. We're making the most of it though and hitting the zoo today!
