Dear wildlife.....

Dear 4 a.m. bird. Usually when I hear your melodious chirping around 4-4:30 a.m., I get frustrated because NO HUMAN in there right mind wants to be up that early. However, I have discovered that you are back, chirping away in the trees outside our window. This can only mean one thing. Spring is coming!!! I welcome you back with arms wide open and perhaps I can scrounge up some bird food so that we can be friends and you won't leave. Thank you for returning. Thank you for being a happy reminder of what is to come.

Oh the things we'll put up with just for a reminder spring really is coming. I love the sound of birds chirping.

Oh baby....I love me some Spring! But I don't think there EVER is anything that could make me love being woken up at 4AM. Sorry Spring. (and sorry 4AM bird)

Oh boy, but it's better than a rooster. I was out around 4 am the other morning (see my blog for details) and lo and behold, I did hear birds chirping. It seemed excessively early for it, but whatever.

I love your 'Thankfulness from Beck' you crack me up. Of course you want to run because by the rest hymn you are out of cheerios, your kids have pulled the person's hair in front of you too many times to still be cute, and all of your books, crayons, and anything else you brought to entertain them has been gone through and tossed aside.

Run, woman, run!

Beck- thanks for always making me laugh. I already miss the snow and I think 4AM chirping would make me miss it even more! I'm pretty sure its about time for another Utah visit. Come on down, I miss you!!
