Tyler got some hockey tickets from my brother in law who lives up in
Canada. He had one left over and wasn't sure what to do. We both agreed that he should take Mason. I mean c'mon, the Winter Olympics are a car drive away! So up they go on Wednesday to the Finland-Belarus game. They're seats were actually up a little higher, but after the game started, Tyler noticed a big chunk of really, REALLY good seats with no one in them. So they moved down to those. Aren't they cute in this picture? See how close they are to the ice? 10 rows from center ice baby!!
I'm so so glad that Tyler took Mason up there for the day. After the game they walked around Olympic village and took in all the sites.
What a great day they had! Mason took some pictures to school to share with the class. His teacher said that he was very excited to tell them about the hockey game he went to with his dad. Thanks for making such a great memory for Mason, sweet Love(Tyler). Your a great dad!!!

That's awesome! I like how Tyler is sporting his Canada gear there. That will be a great memory.
Mason was telling us all about it in class today. I was impressed he even remembered the names of the teams. That is going to be an awesome memory for them.
That is WAY cool! I told Bryce I thought we should have tried to score some tickets with Vancouver being so close.
We have been glued to our tv watching non-stop winter games since last weekend (watching curling right now!).
Mason and Tyler are so lucky to have had the chance to go-what a great time and memory for them!
That is way too cool that they got to go. What a fun memory.
That is such a great memory for Mason! I am a tad bit jealous!
Whoa!! The Olympics? How amazing is that? You know, when the Olympics were in the 'ol SLC I was with child, and pretty sick. My husband, having a job in the media, was given numerous opportunities to attend events, medal ceremonies, and what not. He went, while I stayed home...watched on TV....and tried not to puke. I have sadness about the loss of those opportunities to this very day.
I'm so glad Mason won't have the same bitter story to tell each time the Winter Olympics come around. He'll have a great story. And he has a great dad.
The End. (of my bitter memories!)
