Oh my poor sweet blog. How I've neglected you. I am so sorry, and I am trying to be good again. I feel it pointless to catch up on Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and all the wonderful holidays. Just know that they were fun and a good time was had by all.
I guess the most recent thing that has happened is out new family member.
For Tylers birhtday this last week, we got a dog! He belonged to a friend in our ward who so lovingly gave him to us. Tyler and the kids had no idea! I went over to her house that morning at 7:30 and then had the family look out the back window. I walked in with the dog and then they turned around. SURPRISE! Tyler was thrilled! The kids were excited and now we have a dog. My life is complete. 3 kids, husband, mini-van, mortgage, dog. Dallin has followed him around everywhere and lifts up his ear to tell him secrets. Things like,"Your a good puppy. Are you a good puppy? Whose a good boy?" And my all time favorite....."Your a tootie pie!" (cutie pie) So that us. He's a Cavalier King Charles spaniel, already house trained (yeah) and he's a cute dog.
Nothing beats a tub with my best girl and then turning on the jets!! Glad to know she likes the tub as much as me.
Mason finished a season in basketball and did pretty well. He has plans for the NBA and has turned into dad's couch partner when basketball is on.
Jillian is still my friend. But somedays, wow! And that's all I can say about that!
As I'm helping Mason with his homework, which was adding and or but to a short sentence to make a combined one, he puts his pencil down and says, "I don't know why this is going to help me in the NBA." I tell him that it probably won't, but he'll give an excellent post game interview because he'll know how to combine the sentences together. He finished. What a kid.
