What's that cheezy Micheal McLean song about crying and taking down your Christmas tree? Maybe he doesn't know that our tree was really dead. Maybe he didn't know that our tree was possibly a fire hazard. And maybe he didn't know that vacuuming up all the pine needles (while making the living room smell fabulous I might add) clogged up my vacuum hose and I spent a good portion of FHE trying to clean it out. But anyway, the Christmas cheer has been lovingly placed in boxes until next year. Onto making a DI box with toys from years past.
And so here's to another year. My idea of making a list with each kid to have "special time with mom" worked so well last year that we are doing it again this year. We have our list already made up. Mason for Chuck E. Cheese to play games and Nat and I are flying to San Diego to see my friend. Let me clarify before you start thinking "wow Beck, Chuck E. Cheese vs a trip to CA.... Those are even." A few posts ago I mentioned that my good friend moved to San Diego. Her kids are exactly my kids' age. Her daughter Ally and my Nat were 2 peas in a pod. Tyler got me a plane ticket in October to go see her for my Christmas present. Nat's present was also a ticket to go along. We are excited and Mason knows that his turn is next.
Goals? I have a few things I'd like to see accomplished. But I need to get my hand out of the cereal box first. :)

I think your outings with your kids are the most amazing things! They are so admirable. And I like saying "outing" because it's the way Mary Poppins describes things. And she's cool. Just like you! Saw your Mom for a quick second on Sunday. She's as cute as ever. Gotta love Julie!!
Wonderful! I didn't know you were going to see Lisa, I hope you have a super fun time :)
